Our Urban Trail is a public path that is designed to showcase the campus while giving people of all ages and abilities a safe, no cost place to run, walk, bike, or even skate.
We are in a unique location to be on the water on one end of campus and near downtown on the other. We designed our trail to entice students to get outside and experience our beautiful campus. When developing the path, safety was a critical element as we want people to feel welcomed and secure while using the Urban Trail.
Not only will the trail provide another resource for daily exercise, but urban trails are recognized as a key positive attribute of quality of life as they help build community, connect residents, create a healthy campus, and Bull pride!
The trail is heavily marked to show distances in .05- mile increments and arrows at key points to let the user know which way to go. Even though you can use the trail at any point on the course, the start and finish are located out front the Student Life Center (SLC). The trail is approximately 1-mile in distance and the map is not-to-scale.
We look forward to seeing you out on the trail!
